Tips on How to Get a Great Twist Out

Achieving a great twist out really isn’t that hard to do. I think most naturals get caught up in products when in reality it’s the technique that produces a great hairstyle. Below I’m providing my tips on how to achieve a great twist out. Set your twists for a few days. I hardly ever unravel my twists the next day. I typically allow my twists to set for 2-3 days. You can wear your hair in an updo or pull your twists back in a ponytail or bun until your ready to unravel. Fewer products are better. I use only one product to set the twists. I find that using fewer products is the best way to avoid build up. It’ll also help you to achieve fluffier twist outs.  There are so many great products out there but my favorite is the TGIN Twist and Define cream . Oils – I have a lot of hair so I like to rub oils on my twists once I’m done. If your hair is thin, I wouldn’t recommend this. Instead, oil your scalp and use a light oil to unravel.
